Wall-to-wall carpet cleaning means professional hot-water deep cleaning of a fitted carpet on-site, at home or in the office — there is no need to lift or transport the carpet. Prices from €14.93/m² (incl. VAT 25.5%), the carpet is usually ready for use within about a day depending on the room’s ventilation, and the Finnish household tax credit of –40% is calculated straight into your quote.

How is a wall-to-wall carpet cleaned on-site?
Inspection
We check the condition of the carpet and map out the stains on-site.
Pre-treatment
We soak the stains, vacuum deeply and choose the cleaning method suited to the carpet.
Cleaning
We clean the carpet with hot-water deep cleaning, using steam and brushing, fibre by fibre.
Drying
The carpet is usually ready for use within about a day. Drying time depends on the room’s own ventilation, so we recommend airing the room after our visit.
Typical rooms and sizes
Cleaning one room takes 30–45 minutes. The bed and bedside tables are moved aside for the duration if needed.
The most common booking. The sofa and coffee table are moved temporarily and put back in place after cleaning.
A small but often heavily soiled area. Usually combined with the rest of the cleaning.
Cleaning of communal areas. Agreed with the property manager and marked with "wet floor" signs.
Which wall-to-wall carpets we clean
- Synthetic fibres
- Polyamide, polypropylene, polyester — the most common modern wall-to-wall carpet. Withstands hot-water deep cleaning well and dries fastest of all fibres.
- Wool
- A gentler wash with a neutral pH. Dries more slowly than synthetics — allow about a day. Suitable only for professional hot-water deep cleaning — a wet wash would damage the wool.
- Blends
- Wool-synthetic or plant-fibre blends. We check the material before cleaning, following the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Old parquet floors and carpets
- Special cases in older buildings. We visit and assess the site before quoting if the material is uncertain.
How we treat stains
- We map the stains before cleaning and tell you honestly what to expect
- Every stain is pre-treated with an agent suited to its type
- Fresh and surface stains generally lift best
- Pet urine and vomit spots are treated with enzymes that also break down the source of the odour
- After cleaning the whole carpet is clean — many stains lighten noticeably at the same time
Stain pre-treatment is always included in the price. Please note: we cannot guarantee stain removal — wine, coffee and grease stains in particular, as well as old stains, can leave a mark in the fibre even when the rest of the carpet comes out clean.
Before cleaning
- We move ordinary furniture aside and back again after cleaning. Larger or particularly delicate pieces are agreed in advance.
- It is helpful to move personal items, toys and loose rugs off the floor before we arrive.
- We vacuum the room before the hot-water deep cleaning — there is no need to vacuum beforehand.
- A power outlet and a water point are needed near the area; we use a standard 230 V socket.
Drying time and getting back to normal
The carpet is usually ready for use within about a day — drying speed depends on the room’s ventilation and temperature: faster in summer, longer in winter. We recommend avoiding walking directly on the wet carpet for the first few hours. During that time the carpet may feel a little damper than it appears on the surface. You can enter the room in socks even sooner, and full use returns by the next day at the latest.
